Youth Impact Camp 2009 !

CAUTION – HEAVY WORDLOAD.

Day 1 :
Was awaken by Eunice’s alarm clock at 7+ when she said the night b4 i went to sleep to wake up at 8.30am !! ): went back to sleep and i think we finally woke up at arnd 8am LOL. Yawn yawn yawn, so tired lah and tht girl only slept at 5am+ zzz !! Call her sleep early dont want. Tsktsk. Went to get ready all tht and Davin came. Ate breakfast ( a very large portion ) and i rlly cmi cox i rlly cmi in breakfast but whn it comes to lunch and dinner, you try me :) HAHA. So i rlly cmi with th breakfast but I TRIED MY BEST TT ! Then left at like .. arnd 10 and 10am is like the time they’re supposed to reach church for media la *faint* Took a cab and they dropped me @ j8.

Was slacking @ th kfc corner and started writing encouragement cards for some ppl (: saw jiayi and serene aft tht. Didnt see any Godchasers ): After when its like 11.15am or smth liddat, chuchu they all came. Thn Binghao called to me buy smth for him and Kz ._. , LOL. So went to buy and headed to rjc cox we’re gonna be late. When we left its like 11.50am or near 12 alr. LOL. We’re supposed to report at 12 ~ walked thr and went to register ^^ . We’re staying at 4th floor !! ( like finally no need climb up to 6th or 7th floor, woah super happy la hahaha. But we’re very far from the toiler *faints* but its still better cox no need climb 2 or 3 extra storeys :D ! Went up to put our bags, not in same bunk as all Godchasers, mixed w some blue tribe members, lol. Thn went down to gather for opening cheer (:

After tht break into our teams for team games ! I luv my team man, like totally. HAHA. My team consist of : Cheryl Lee, Cheryl Ng, Andrea, Lester, Wanjun, Yuhong, Rachel and Me :D HAHA my team rlly rocked la. HAHA played loads of fun games like transporting foam on someone’s hair to a bottle infront and from th side th opposition team will splash water on th person with th foam to let th foam drop. HAHA And we won tht game ^^ Played captain’s ball and we won again ! Up next is Scissors Paper Stone. HAHA thn mux follow th pattern below and the instructions. Played against Euny’s team and she won me in scissors paper stone i’m like WHUT!! hahaha but we still won in th end :D Went to play “ lao ying zhua xiao ji “ and we won with th help of Weijian ! :D HAHAHA. Thn played human soccer !!! HAHAHA we own them by 1 mark ^^ thn played th human slide was was very very very fun HAAHAHA but th canvas thing was rlly slippery – water + starch … LOL . Thn i wanted to use my knee to slide down but b4 i even go down my butt was on th canvas ._. LOL !! So my whole pants is like chui. LOL. HAHA and we won another team too. We won 6 games alr ! Headed to th last game we played, form a word smth smth but we lost on tht one :l psps cant find “ C “ ! hahaha but i rlly love my team to th max :D RED TRIBE FTW. Went back to assemble thn prepare to go bath.

Took stuffs and went to th toilets allocated for th girls. HAHA. 4th, 6th and 7th. 4th is fully packed and so I went to 6th one and I saw Eunice thr and i went in th queue also since its not like super long. HAHAHA. But they’re like bathing super slow and since Euny was serving ltr she had to go earlier and she juz shouted for them to be faster LOL. HAHA. Thn till my turn quickly bathed and thn went back to bunk, take sermon stufffs + encouragement cards and went for dinner. Dinner wasnt bad cox we’re super hungry and Lumei was like : “ who want extra rice? “ HAHAHA. I think Weiting, Madeline and I asked for it HAHAHA. Its wonderful food ^^

Went for our 1st night service afterwards and I cldnt rlly understand whut th pastor was saying. Perhaps a lil too chim ? ._. lol. Thn tht day Weiting th all smelly smelly cox they haven bath. After service and debrief, I went to take supper thn those who hadnt bath went to bath (: HAHA thn went back room they had gtp ( Girls Tau Pok ) awhile, HAHAHA. I wasnt th victim or th taupok-er :D HEH. Went to give Eunice her jellybeans as well ( cox cannot put @ encouragement corner anything tht is like more thn 5g and th jellybeans is like .. 90g. LOL. HAHAHA they will kill me. She gave me a berry delicious grapes thingy in return. hahah and wow i haven even touch it till now. Went to sleep afterwards and it was colddddddd !!!

Day 2 :
Was awaken arnd 6+ by someone from blue tribe de alarm clock. Audrey’s alarm clock aka phone alarm didnt ring lor !! cox she nt using her normal phone, jux a spare phone. Thn super lol lah. Audrey was so hard to get her up !! *faints* hahahaha. Brushed up all tht and went for breakfast! Tdy was a whole day workshop thing, heh.

Breakfast was beehooon. Quite a large serving, or at least, for me. LOL I’m one who R A R E L Y eat breakfast, so so bu xi guan, hahah ! Thn i rlly cmi alr so I gave up, I told lumei i cldnt eat anymore. My whole smallgrp were amazed. HAHA :X ! Thn Cheryl was like ..

Me : Errr .. cox i breakfast CMI ma !

LOL super LOL rlly LOL hahahaha. Whut am i typing. HAHAHAHA. Okay at least I ate almost HALF of it. HEY NOT BAD LIAO LEI. LOLOLOL. Thn went for th 1st service – session 2. God’s YES = YES. His promises never change and problems dont hinder promises (: !! Went for debrief thn lunch aft tht :D lunch was .. i forget whut but i finished it LOL. Pretty sure abt tht :l but Cheryl still ate faster cox I kept walking arnd taking water + encouragement cards !! LOLOL. And she was being th usual her,

LOL. hahaha typical discipler leh. AC AC HAHAHAH :D ! Went for th workshop : “ Redeeming a dying school for a living God “ was some rlly gr8 stuffs althou someone did fell asleep … not me , but someone. lol x-x tsk. Pray for arnd 15mins after tht and thn dismissed. Tht was th 1st workshop – those under 15 or 16 de girls thn mux go cox another one is only for 15/16 yrs old girls and abv and same applies to da guys !! After tht went out to wait for others to go for our 2nd workshop – which i chosen Media cox i’m interested in it ! Infact, QUITE !!! :DDDD ! HAHAHA. Th talk was AWESUM lah. Mu En was super funny and hilarious lol he kept gng off track and talking to himself, LOLOL. Heh, Knew more abt lights, sounds media stuffs and also photography “ tutorial “ by timothy sim ! hahahaha he introduced th dslr’s functions – like whut is ISO for , APERTURE, S ( shutter speed, i think ) and more. HAHA some rlly cool workshop :D

Ended at arnd 4.30 and dinner was at arnd 6 !! went back to room to see Audrey and i-forget-who sleeping. LOL. Their’s end at like 4pm !! lol own. HAHA thn chu chu say th songwriting is even earlier, 3+ end alr. HAHA so is like all diff timing = more toilets = no long queues = (L) !!!! wheeeee, went to bath and 7th floor have like no people. WOAH THANK GOD!!! Bathed and went back to room attempting to have a good sleep/ nap time awhile b4 we went down ~ . Apparently they said tht we’re to assemble at 6.30pm but they changed to 6pm cox we go train our cheers !! MUHAHAHA. RED TRIBE FTW. At 5+ I think chulien came into our room and .. th GTP team went into action. HAHA they rlly cant stop taupok-ing LOL. Its like super funny la , girls playing taupok, rare rare rare but NOT RARE in Godchasers. HAHA RADICAL MA. Thn its like chui HAHA. 6pm went down for cheers and was satisfied !!!

Dinner afterwards! Awesome dinner. Cheryl didnt win me !! :D HAHA cox i didnt walk arnd as much. blehhhhh!!! hahahaha. After tht, service – session 3. Without Vision, People Perish. Pastor Glyn shared alot stories on this sermon, and most of thm are quite hilarious and dumb dumb. LOL. TSK HE’S VERY CUTE LAH. Yup, gonna put on our future glasses !! Took our Youth Impact Camp photo after tht, everyone wearing th D E E P E R shirt. Oh yah did i mention tht this yr’s camp shirt is super chio !! I’ll upload a photo next time !! After tht was debrief, (: But i think we ended too late or YI ppl too ks go take breads and all breads were GONE. LOL. So poor ppl went back to our bunks .. without SUPPER ): !!! I think Meiyan came into our room to take her stuffs ( okay i forget izzit in th afternoon or night ) thn she lay down and wanna get her lappy, Weiting or Audrey go and taupok her and boom boom boom LOL . Cant stop laughing HAHAHAHA. Poor Meiyan, so innocent. LOL. Then this time Audrey used her normal phone to set alarm and …

Audrey : Mux wake me up at 7am ah !

Okai trust her. Go sleep. Very COLD. LOL. As usual.

Day 3 :
Audrey’s alarm clock was noizy. LOL. attempted to call her wake up but = fail. Had a hard time waking her up lor, hahah she sleeping beauty leh, rlly. HAHAHA. Today was war games day !! Changed into our R-E-D shirts thn went for breakfast. Totally no appetite tdy, chui. LOL. I ate like the hotdog of th breakfast and never touch th kwaytiao anymore. LOL. I rock :X so in th end only my plastic container was full of food while others were, EMPTY. LOL. Tsktsk, maybe my digestive juices werent so active in th morning? HAHAHA.

Went for service after tht, and had a blast, :D blast blast blast wheeeeeeee!!! Gr8 service, Gr8 sermon, Gr8 pastor, Almighty God! Heh. Went for lunch afterwards and i se-rai-ious-ly ( lumei’s way of seriously hahaha ) forget whut we had for lunch. LOL anw went to th theatre hall to gather b4 we set off for bishan park. Had briefing sessions thn we left. On my way thr i wasnt feeling well, took a panadol and felt btr. hahaha weird war game they had this year btw. okai so we walked a veli veli long dist to bishan park cox cox its constructing smth smth so we can only go in at th other end, zzz !! sian sian sian.

We’re like th 1st tribe or 2nd tribe to reach thr, Weijian gave us debrief abt th games and (: . we’re supposed to collect red beans but i think collecting red ants are way more easier zzz 1 whole strand of them !! EWWW, ants are still disgusting even thou God cre8ted thm TT . Sorry God, LOL. So anyway da location is chosen by drawing lots .. and we had the worst location, we cld say. Not near HQ, not near games. very near other tribes = die during catcher’s time. LOL 1/2 of th time we’re hiding la zzz . Thn we’re gonna play a game tht time we’re like panting and pst Daniel and Sister Wanping walked past and joined us awhile. I’m out of breath jux running to th stupid station which is SO FARRRRRRR from red tribe area lol. Thn i told Pastor Daniel,

LOL he speak chinese abit funny heh. Thn yup we lost .. Nvm nvm red tribe we’ve tried our best !! Then it rained ._. , whn th game stopped. LOL went to a shelter to shelter ourselves b4 gng back. A small boy in Euny’s cell got his hand injured, he was so small lah. Thn in th rain he sat on th trolley with 2 guys pushing him into th shelter all th way from HQ and with a cardboard abv his head, haha super cute!! Whn th rain eventually stopped or rather became super small, we walked back to RJC. The journey seemed shorter than b4, lol. HAHAH, red tribe, still rocks !

Went back and back to bunk, took stuffs and went up to bath. Everyone was queue-ing up for 7th floor de guys toilet whn thr’s only 2 cubicals !!! I saw th handicap toilet empty so i jux went in, (: came out bathed and happy. LOL. I see th red tribe ppl still queue-ing a long long queue. LOL so went back to bunk to see weiting they all not bathed yet :l LOL. They say th next one who came in and was bathed will be taupok-ed by them !! and tht is, th GTP team, hahaha. Thn we stayed in th room .. waiting for th next culprit to come back. It was Cheryl and Madeline, lol plan went as normal … someone told Cheryl to take something and she lay flat on th bed, not noticing anything from the back and, Audrey th GTP ldr went into action. HAHA. And they piled piled piled up :l why Godchaser girls more and more violence ahhhhh, with th exceptional of Tiffy, :X heh. Thn Madeline despite seeing th situation Cheryl was in, she also tio LOL. HAHAHA too late to get away i guess, tsk tsk.

Went down for dinner after tht, was super famished. Th drink was lychee or izzit lime or orange or rose or whut? (: not bad drinks all th time!! jux tht .. finished VERY fast. okai thn went to night service (: aka last 2nd service of th camp. yep amazing, God juz, touched me. His presence was so strong in th theatre. Well after tht, went to take our suppers aka breads b4 debrief cox all th breads were out th day b4 !! so yeap i see all my sg members R U N N I N G (LOL)to th canteen to take bread. LOL. Yeap, i took 3 breads thinking tht others might have take enuff for my smallgrp. Went back, placed all th bread on th floor and waited for others to come back. And seriously, whn Ryan came back we’re all amazed LOL, he took 12 breads, each for every one of us LOL. Plus everyone of us, were taking for each other in th small group!! Some took 3, 4, 5, 6 even 12 !! When Lumei reached thr, she saw the pile of bread she’s like ..

Tht might be th only time we’re so united since th past. LOL we rock man, seriously. And we’re th bread tribe for tht night HAHA. Yeah we counted all the breads, including th ones we’re eating we had 46 breads in total. Th pic you see below is jux 30+, its excluded from those we’re eating. Heh, so united arent we :D

Cool stuffs. After debrief went back to have a good night sleep. Just, BOOM onto th bed and ZZZ alr. Nice night, with fans on and 26 or 27 degree Celsius of Aircon (:

Day 4 :
Last day of camp, and th most unexpected morning LOL. Nobody woke up and Chulien they all came over to wake us up. Was super tired laaaaaaaaa. Got up reluctantly arnd 7.10-7.15am. Had a hard time calling Audrey ( as usual ) cox she’s th typical sleeeeeepy log (: eventually she “ uh, uh, uh “ for a few time then we went to wash up first. On our way thr we saw chulien and asked her to wake Audrey up, and yeap Audrey woke up and found us at the toilet. Heh, this bathrobe ah… TSKTSK.

This breakfast is the best. Western breakfast. Kool, i ate it. Felt VERY VERY FULL x-x . Went for service, was able to jump, not afraid-ing tht i’ll puke or smth :D b4 service started i went to toilet and when i went in, th countdown thing was at 100 and red tribe ppl ( esp Godchasers ) came down alr. We’re more ks and ks each day lol. 1st time is 50, thn 70, now 100 !! LOL We rock lah, typical Singaporean !! Yeap had massive worship !! Sang th song Get Up – Planetshakers too !! ROCK-ED ! Last service was awesome. This whole camp was awesome. GOD IS AWESOME. Amen. LOL. :D thn after service praised Him (: Sang Get Up again, i’m praising Him freely, more enthusiastic and fire for Him. Great. I want more of these but just tht my legs wld suffer more. I’ll nv fail to go back with a muscleache on both legs and hands LOL.

Then went back to bunk to pack our bags and get deflate airbed. LOL played Taupok for da last time b4 they left. LOL th bed deflates immediately. HAHAHA. Took all th heavy heavy heavy bags down to th “ foyer “ and yeap, waited for our cheering competitonnnnn :D

So after all th cheering competition-s, they gave out prizes.

Yup we’re rlly happy tht we won th cheers ! (L) hehehe. Red tribe go go go go !! Thruout this camp i get to know more ppl from Cheryl Lee’s cell yup! Didnt rlly talk to ppl in Peijun’s cell cox idk them.. LOL. Most importantly, I think I did grew deeper in God, (: Yeap. In worship, more and more excited to praise & worship Him everytime.

Yeap, went j8 to have our lunch !! bgt th soup + rice “ healthy “ combination again, 2.80$ lawlz. After tt headed back w Jiayi and Serene. Heh, talked alot alot alot! Yeah HAHAHA :D blue tribe’s any-o-how cheer with the apple orange thingy LOL hahahah! :] yeah yeah yeah rched home and yeah lol. BOOOOOOM and slept :D !!!
